On May 30, the "China (Xingtai) Clean Energy Heating Summit" hosted by the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Xingtai Municipal Government and co-organized by the Weixian County Government and Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was held today in Weixian County.

Zhang Yuqing, Former Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration, Xu Xinjian, Executive Chairman of the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of Sunrise Oriental Holdings Co., Ltd., Zhang Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Xingtai Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Government, Shang Liying, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and Government of Weixian County, Hebei Province and the county mayor and more than 200 guests gathered together to conduct hotspot analysis and strategic discussions and to discuss the development plan of the clean heating industry around the theme of "New Era's ‘Solar Thermal+'" .

Zhang Yuqing, former deputy director of the National Energy Administration, said in his opening speech: promoting clean heating in the northern region is a major event related to the lives of the broad masses of people and an important project in the public interest. This year's government work report emphasized the need to protect the blue sky and guarantee the clean heating the northern region. From the important instructions of the General Secretary and the Prime Minister to the policy of converting coal to electricity in some areas, our country has formed a pattern of central heating as the mainstay and multiple heating methods as supplementary. At present, the overall environmental air quality in our country is generally improving. It is also necessary to realize that clean heating is a systematic project and also a complex task. Clean heating is sustainable unless everyone could afford it. Some heating methods have poor results; thus, it is still necessary to actively explore multiple energy sources and complementary paths and multiple heating methods, adapt measures to local conditions, earnestly sum up experience in promoting clean heating methods, take a long-term view, and strengthen project supervision.

Zhang Qiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Xingtai Municipal Party Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Government, stated: in recent years, Xingtai City has attached great importance to clean energy heating, implemented clean energy transformation of 405,800 households, 289,000 households with coal to gas, and 195,000 households with coal to electricity. A number of pilot projects including solar heating and geothermal heating have been launched. Among them, solar thermal + material equipment, clean fuel has been included in Hebei Province's coal-fired alternative financial subsidy products.

According to the “Clean Heating Plan for Winter in the Northern Region (2017-2021)”, by 2019, the clean heating rate in the northern region will reach 50%, replacing 74 million tons of loose coal (including coal for low-efficiency small boilers). By 2021, the clean heating rate in the northern region will reach 70%, replacing 150 million tons of loose coal (including coal for low-efficiency small boilers). At present, solar heating mainly exists in the form of auxiliary heating, which is used in conjunction with other heating methods, and the heating area is small. The target of solar heating area is 50 million square meters by 2021, so the development prospects are broad. Shang Liying, County Magistrate , stated in his speech that “this summit will definitely have a significant impact on the development of clean energy in Weixian County,” and revealed that in on the basis of piloting 150 households of “Solar Thermal +” heating systems in Weixian County, we would promote the solar heating system in 200,000 households.

In order to build a professional, open, inclusive and shared government-enterprise communication and cooperation platform, to aggregate industrial forces, and to further promote the healthy and sustainable development of the solar thermal industry, the executive chairman unit of the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Sunrise Oriental Holdings Co., Ltd. and its vice chairman unit and Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. jointly initiated and established the ‘Solar Thermal +’ Professional Committee of the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.

At this summit, Xue Daorong, the proposed executive director, read out the “Proposal on Initiating the Establishment of the ‘Solar Thermal +’ Professional Committee of the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce”.

After the meeting, Mr. Xue and the company’s managers led the leaders to visit the production line of vacuum heat collector tube and trough solar heating system of Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and celebrated completion of fully automated production line with the annual production of 200,000 medium and high temperature heat collector tubes.
