Signing Ceremony of Daorong New Energy and Yang Weiyou Academician Workstation Was Grandly Held

On July 17, 2020, the Signing Ceremony of Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Daorong New Energy") and Yang Weiyou Academician Workstation was grandly held in Jiayu Science and Technology Industrial Park, Weixian County, Hebei. Xue Daorong, Daorong New Energy Chairman and Academician Yang Weiyou signed an academician workstation agreement.

Shang Liying, Weixian County County Mayor, Luo Xiangzheng, Economic Development Zone Secretary, and Zhao Zhongxiang, Director of the Development and Reform Bureau, Professor Li Jianqiang, Dr. Wang Hui, and Dr. Guo Lijiang from Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chen Jiangyun, Secretary-General of China Construction Metal Structure Association Clean Heating Branch and Han Chengming, Zhang Li and Zhang Huaming, Deputy General Managers of Yun, Daorong New Energy attended the signing ceremony. This is also the first academician workstation signed by Weixian County.

Academician Yang Weiyou congratulated Daorong New Energy for its achievements in the field of "Solar Thermal +" clean energy heating in recent years, and highly affirmed its important role in the "Blue Sky Defense War". He said that he will formulate development strategies for enterprises, provide decision-making consultation and technical guidance, and start tackling key technical problems that enterprises urgently need to solve. At the same time, he will actively build a technological innovation platform and cultivate innovative talents.

Mr. Xue thanked the leaders and departments of Weixian County for their strong support for the development of Daorong New Energy. Daorong New Energy will fully use the advantages of academician workstations in technical guidance, introduction and training of high-end talents, brand building and transformation of scientific and technological achievements in order to strengthen the training of innovative talents, continue to tackle key problems and solve a number of key core technologies, and strive to create more new technologies and products with independent intellectual property rights as well as to help enterprises achieve high-quality development through technological innovation, and promote the transformation and upgrading of solar thermal utilization industry from low-temperature hot water to medium-temperature "Solar Thermal +" heating and industrial heat utilization.

Shang Liying, County Magistrate, congratulated Daorong New Energy and Academician Yang Weiyou for successfully signing the academician workstation agreement. He hopes that under the guidance of Academician Yang Weiyou, the scientific and technological content of Weixian County’s "Solar Thermal +" heating mode will be effectively improved and lead the efficient development of Weixian County’s clean heating.

Yang Weiyou, who signed the contract to build the station, is a foreign academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Engineering and an expert who enjoys the special government allowance of the State Council. He has been committed to the controllable synthesis, performance and device application basic research of the third-generation semiconductor low-dimensional materials. He also has presided over 8 projects including the 973 Program and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, published more than 150 SCI papers and participated in the writing of 2 international monographs. He was granted 70 national invention patents and has high attainments in the field of materials science.

Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2017 with a registered capital of 100 million Yuan. According to the national new energy industry development layout, Daorong New Energy is responsible for the business development of the medium-temperature "Solar Thermal +" new energy field. It is a high-tech enterprise that integrates the research and development, design, manufacturing and sales of thermo-thermal products, focusing on utilization of  medium-temperature "Solar Thermal +" clean energy, actively promotes the development of medium-temperature "solar thermal +", electricity, alcohol, biomass, natural gas, heat pump and other energy heating, distributed heating and industrial heat utilization technology advancement, and strives to lead the development of medium temperature "Solar Thermal +" industry.
